Nestled in the heart of Red Lake County’s farm country, Cornerstone Residence of Oklee is a beautifully built 14-unit assisted living community.

The large central dining area and cozy community living space is central to our studio suites, characterized by regional decor. Professional caretakers are staffed 24/7, which means that assistance is always available.

Each of the 14 private suites feature their own full bath, spacious walk-in closet, and kitchenette, perfect for preparing light meals or snacks for company. A full offering of services ranging from assistance with activities of daily living (ADL’s) to advanced care needs, including two-person assistance, ensuring comfort, dignity, and peace of mind at every level.

Long-Term Care Insurance

Elderly Waiver (EW)

The Minnesota Elderly Waiver program, often simply referred to as EW, helps seniors aged 65 and older who qualify for Medical Assistance and need a nursing-home level of care, to remain in a community setting, like Cornerstone Residence of Oklee, instead of moving into a nursing home.

Through the Customized Living service option, EW can help pay for care and support services including personal care assistance, medication management, housekeeping, and 24-hour supervision. EW can significantly reduce the overall expense of living in an assisted living community by funding the supportive services that make independent living possible. CADI

The Community Access for Disability Inclusion (CADI) Waiver is a Medicaid Home-and-Community-Based Services (HCBS) waiver program in Minnesota, administered by the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS). The program aims to enable individuals with disabilities who would otherwise meet the level of care required in a nursing facility to receive needed support services while living in the community.

Like the Elderly Waiver program, the CADI Waiver program covers Customized Living service options and significantly reduce the cost of living in an assisted living facility. We can provide direction on resources for those who qualify under the CADI Waiver program.

Housing Support

The Housing Support program is a state-funded income supplement designed to help eligible adults, age 65 or older, or who have a disability, pay for room and board in an approved housing setting like Cornerstone Residence of Oklee. It offers peace of mind for individuals and families by helping cover housing costs and link with care-oriented housing.
